Overview
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.
The Data Domain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing data across specific domains, focusing on data sourcing, integration, and consumption. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and analytics to ensure efficient and secure data workflows.
This person will collaborate closely with key partners in the Chief Data Office and throughout the business to understand data needs and facilitate data integration and consumption.
Responsibilities
- Data Integration: Design and implement data integration strategies using ETL tools and technologies to consolidate data from multiple sources into a centralized repository.
- Data Consumption: Collaborates with data analysts, data scientists, and business users to define requirements and facilitate consumption of data.
- Data Governance: Works closely with data governance teams to ensure compliance data policies and regulations, ensuring data security and privacy.
- Data Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Technical Leadership: Provides technical leadership to team members promoting best practices.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and dashboards to monitor data quality, integration performance, and usage to make data driven recommendations on improvement.
- Documentation: Follows organizational standards and policies, maintains thorough documentation on data processes, workflows, and technical specifics to ensure knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
- Manage Platform support team and provide incident management support
- Work with L1/L2 support teams for incident escalation
- Provide platform domain knowledge to other domain teams

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Applications development, applications analysis or systems engineering OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Applications development, applications analysis or systems engineering
Preferred Qualifications:

- Excellent rapport building ability and business acumen.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data platform design, and data warehousing principles.
- Leadership and management experience with leading teams.
- Working experience in financial services and retail banking product development experience.
- Experience in developing data warehouse solutions and end-to-end development life-cycle support and SDLC processes.
- Knowledge of database platforms and application designs that cross those platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and data modeling skills (logical, physical, semantic etc.,).
- Experience in technology infrastructure management.
- Experience leading data technology and delivery across multiple platforms (ex: Netezza, Infosphere, Denodo, Collibra, Snowflake).
- Experience with Data Movement & Consumption (ETL, DataStage, Informatica).
- Experience building and sustaining credibility with business partners and leaders across an organization.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define new data needs.
- Ability to maximize data-based decisions for key business units.
- Outstanding Leadership & Communication skills.
- Building Enterprise Data Warehouse.
- 10+ Financial Services industry experience.
If hired in North Carolina, the base pay for this position is generally between $110,152 and $168,900. If hired in California, the base pay for this position is generally between $132,196 and $200,000. If hired in New Jersey, the base pay for this position is generally between $126,00 and $198,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employmen
