Overview
This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.
This position provides support to the Wine team's sales organization, vendor partners and senior management through the underwriting and adjudication of credit applications within the Wine Division. Reviews private and publicly available information and low to moderate complexity risk assessments on commercial borrowers, analyzing customer/prospective customer financial statements/performance and internal pay history, as necessary. Adjudicates opportunities up to established lending authority and recommends decisions over and above their delegated authority.

- Analysis - Sources, compiles, spreads and interprets commercial and natural person financial data or statements to determine the creditworthiness of a business client(s). Researches, identifies and analyzes factors that impact credit on both a quantitative and qualitative basis. Provides insight and communicates credit relationship information to interested parties. Analyzes loan processes for accuracy and efficiency, effectively communicates analysis output.
- Business Support - Provides analytical insight and technical skill to lending activities, maintaining strong industry, data, and credit knowledge to serve as a trusted resource to associates. Recommends process improvements and risk mitigation strategies identified through data trends.
- Client outreach - Obtains and monitors financial documentation utilized in analysis efforts, from Borrowers and prospective Borrowers. Ensures accuracy, completeness, and consistency of information and continues developing own COI ecosystem.
- Reporting - Produces reports based on analysis, key loan metrics, and credit relationships. Identifies and communicates trends that indicate risk or credit issues. Monitors loan performance to assist in larger portfolio management efforts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years of experience in Credit analysis, Banking or Financial industry OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Credit analysis, Banking or Financial industry
Preferred Area of Experience: Experience within the wine industry
