The Compliance Governance team is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive student to intern with our team for summer of 2025.
Our intern will gain practical experience in compliance governance and document management while further developing their communication and organizational skills. You will be exposed to compliance-related processes and corporate governance best practices.

This position is ideal for a student who is looking to develop a career in compliance, governance or related fields.
Key Responsibilities for this intern will include, but not be limited to:
- Collaborate with the compliance team to create, organize, and maintain new hire welcome packages.
- Ensure all compliance-related information is clear, comprehensive, and up to date.
- Coordinate with HR and relevant departments to ensure timely delivery of welcome materials to new hires.
- Create a Site to help streamline ongoing updates.
- Assist in the creation, organization, and maintenance of the internal compliance SharePoint site.
- Ensure the site is user-friendly, easy to navigate, and well-organized for team use.
- Regularly update content, including guidelines, policies, and procedures, ensuring easy access for team members.
- Review and monitor compliance-owned documents for accuracy, expiration, and necessary updates.
- Track document lifecycle management, ensuring all compliance materials are compliant with FCB's policies and regulations.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure necessary revisions and approvals are completed in a timely manner.
- Provide administrative support to the compliance governance team, including document filing, scheduling, and meeting coordination.
- Assist with compliance audits, remediation and reporting as needed.

Attend professional development sessions, informational sessions, networking and community service events.
Have a dedicated manager and program manager to help you navigate the bank and the internship program.
Be assigned a project, designed to improve a specific process or solve a problem that you will present at the close of the internship.
Prepare a wrap-up presentation to be shared with the division leader and other key stakeholders in the company to outline your accomplishments and experience during the internship

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED and 1 years of experience
- Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution (during time of summer program)
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the program
Preferred qualifications:
- 3.0 Minimum GPA
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Law, Compliance or a related field
- Strong desire to learn and grow
- Posses a positive attitude, naturally curious and enjoys collaborating with others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to adapt and adjust priorities based on business needs, organizational and strong time management skills
- Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
- Familiarity with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Sharepoint
- Works well independently as well as when on a team
