Overview
This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): North Carolina and Nebraska.
This position delivers strategic insight into the application support team that responds to instability in the Digital Banking ecosystem while supporting our partners with key insights through reporting, data management and driving post incident management processes. Serves as a technical expert to business stakeholders as triage occurs during an active Incident. May oversee the work of less experienced analysts in the work group.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output.
- Identifying Requirements - Determines system requirements and communicates them using specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Identifies issues that affect system processes, and assists in correcting. Ensures compliance through testing and analysis.
- Reporting - Produces advanced reporting based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. May develop process enhancements based on analysis results.
- System Support - Provides expert technical support for systems by responding to escalated inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Implements recommended modifications and enhancements. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering guidance on systems and data output.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support
OR
High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a current contractor/contingent worker for First Citizens Bank.
- Experience working in an analytical role supporting a P1 application
- Experience working in a Large Financial Institution / Fintech environment
- Previous experience running P1 and P0 Incidents
- Incident Management experience
- Proficient MS Excel skills and experience
- Previous understanding and experience with Money Movement
- ACH
- Wires
- Real Time Payments
- Strong analytical mindset
- Ability to take abstract issues and boil down to simplistic concepts
- Creative troubleshooter
- Dynatrace experience
