We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst II to join our Risk & Compliance Technology team. This role requires extensive experience in the banking sector, with a strong understanding of compliance systems and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong business and systems analysis skills and systems integration expertise. The ideal candidate can work independently with minimal guidance to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities
- Analyze and translate complex banking and compliance-related business requirements into a functional system designs.
- Conduct technology and system-related analysis using knowledge of current applications, interface, and data structures to recommend solutions.
- Facilitate and patriciate in design and requirement-gathering sessions to ensure business needs align with First Citizens Bank standards.
- Support workflow automation and business process improvement for compliance-related processes using BPM Tools.
- Provide support for production hand-off including maintenance and documentation updates.
- Prepare and present subject matter knowledge, insights, and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Apply advanced data analysis skills to understand and document detailed system data flows.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance current and future business needs.
- Manage system configurations, data mapping, and integrations with other enterprise applications.
- Develop and maintain training materials for system functionality.
- Contribute technically to system development, including enhancements and maintenance of assigned systems.
- Act as a liaison between compliance teams, IT teams, and business leaders.
- Manage projects from initial idea to full implementation, ensuring timely delivery of enhancements and changes.
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support
- 2-3 Years experience as an Analyst in systems and application management.
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services industry, preferably in an IT-related domain.
- Strong knowledge of Corporate Compliance applications.
- Knowledge of business process automation tools (Appian, Pega, or similar BPM Tools).
- Experience in systems implementation projects.
- Advanced skills in systems integration (web services, ETL, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with experience in Agile and Scrum Methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders, including Compliance Teams, IT Teams, and Business Leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration at all levels.
- Strong ability to execute and prioritize multiple tasks, initiate and lead meetings, and collaborate effectively.
