Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pega Business System Analyst to lead and drive business process transformation initiatives using Pega BPM/CRM solutions. This role involves gathering complex business requirements, designing intelligent workflow automation, and ensuring successful Pega implementations. As a senior member of the team, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable, high-impact Pega solutions that align with strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Work with senior business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document complex business processes and requirements.
  • Lead and facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, stakeholder workshops, and process reviews.
  • Translate business needs into high-quality functional specifications, user stories, process models, and decisioning rules for Pega applications.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current and future state processes and recommend automation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Pega Architects and Developers to design and implement robust workflow solutions.
  • Define and document case management, workflow automation, business rules, UI/UX configurations, and integration requirements.
  • Ensure that business rules and process flows align with Pega best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Guide the team in leveraging Pega capabilities such as decisioning, robotics, AI, and low-code automation.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, driving alignment between business goals and Pega capabilities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, testers, and solution architects.
  • Effectively communicate business and technical concepts to C-suite executives, product managers, and IT teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to junior Business Analysts to enhance their Pega expertise.
  • Define UAT strategies, test plans, and test scenarios to validate Pega applications.
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure end-to-end testing and issue resolution.
  • Ensure business sign-off on Pega solutions before production deployment.
  • Support post-implementation reviews and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze existing workflows and propose optimization strategies using Pega's automation capabilities.
  • Stay updated with Pega advancements, new features, and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Establish and enforce Pega best practices, governance standards, and compliance frameworks.
  • Advocate for low-code development, intelligent automation, and digital transformation strategies.

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support

OR

High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst with a strong focus on Pega BPM/CRM platforms.
  • Experience in Pega PRPC (Process Commander), case management, decisioning, UI configuration, and business rules engine.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and DevOps tools.
  • Understanding of business process modeling (BPMN), data modeling, APIs, and system integration in Pega.
  • Knowledge of Pega AI-powered decisioning, robotic process automation (RPA), and workflow orchestration.
  • Exposure to SQL queries, data migration, and reporting capabilities within Pega.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead discussions, influence decision-making, and drive consensus.
  • Experience in mentoring junior analysts and training business users on Pega functionalities.
  • Highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA) or Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) certification preferred.
  • Experience in banking, insurance, healthcare, or financial services industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven decisioning, process mining, and advanced analytics in Pega applications.

If hired in North Carolina the base pay for this position is generally between $84,975 and $113,300. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
