Overview
This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location: NJ
This position is responsible for providing advanced technical and operational business system support. Performs assessments to determine business requirements and implements functional specifications for assigned systems. Ensures that developed solutions support Bank objectives through reporting and analysis activities. Will involve application and system testing. May occasionally guide less experienced analysts in the work group.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output.
- System Support - Provides daily technical support for systems by responding to inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Assists in implementing recommended modifications and enhancements. May serve as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units.
- Identifies system requirements and communicates them using specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Ensures compliance through monitoring and analysis.
- Acts as a liaison between development and business teams.
- Reporting - Produces reports based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, discrepancies, and areas of improvement.
- Writes and executes test cases in Dev, QA and UAT. Coordinates with business leaders to support business testers in UAT.
- Ensures compliance with SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) processes

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support
Preferred:
Experience creating and updating user stories, bug tickets, PBIs and Tasks in Azure DevOps or similar software used to manage the Agile development lifecycle
Experience working with business and technical teams to gather and document requirements
Experience creating and executing test cases for banking or financial web-based applications
Experience testing APIs using SOAP UI and Postman
Able to train business testers based on requirements and provide direction and support during testing
Experience using ServiceNow or similar centralized system used to track and resolve requests, incidents, and changes for technology
Able to work independently and is comfortable asking clarifying questions
Experience writing SQL queries
