Business Support Specialist II (Remote - NC, SC, FL)

Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida

This position supports Bank products or services within the Retail Credit Underwriting group, in the execution of daily operating activities. Works directly with associates to address issues and respond to inquiries. Reviews and identifies discrepancies in files or data, coordinating with other associates to implement process enhancements. Facilitates workflow and ensures client satisfaction through the handling, processing, and servicing of requests. May occasionally guide less experienced specialists.

Responsibilities

Account Servicing - Processes and manages a pipeline of retail loan applications specific to line of business. Performs data entry, processing, and responds to inquiries regarding procedures and products. Ensures accuracy and compliance with all rules and regulations.

Operations - Performs various operational tasks that occur during associate inquiries.

Service & Support - Develops relationships with associates to achieve business goals and streamline service experience. Determines target needs and provides resolution. May handle escalated and complex support issues.

Business Proficiency - Provides knowledge in area of work. Assists in troubleshooting for both internal and external parties.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

- OR -

High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of experience in Support, Operations, or Customer Service

Additional Requirements:

Banking industry experience

Advanced Customer Service skills

Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook proficiency

Proven experience autonomously managing daily workflow

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Retail banking experience

Lending and/or underwriting experience
