The Strategic Sales Operations team ensures SVB's complex and ever-evolving business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major bank business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

In this role, you will partner closely with Technology and Life Science Relationship Management leaders to help them execute their initiatives and growth strategies. You will shape the way we work, through operational cadence, go-to-market initiatives, insights and reporting.

This position offers the opportunity to join a team of talented Sales Operations professionals, and to collaborate with sales, product, marketing, legal and finance to translate go-to-market strategies into operations that sustain and accelerate growth.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the business leaders and cross-functional teams to execute go-to-market operations.
  • Provide monthly reporting with actionable insights on business performance and core performance metrics.
  • Use data and research to influence and drive change, meaningfully impacting core performance results.
  • Develop and improve scalable processes, tools, and dashboards to drive operational and business efficiency
  • Actively engage with the broader Sales Operations team, to share knowledge, learn new skills and contribute to a positive and engaged team dynamic.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in sales operations/analytics/strategy or consulting experience or High School/GED with 6 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience with a focus on management consulting, corporate strategy, analytics, sales operations and equivalent project management experience
  • Aptitude for framing business questions in analytic terms and translating business requirements into useful datasets and analyses with actionable insights
  • Experience using and developing reports, metrics, and dashboards with data analytics, data visualization, and presentation tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Tableau)
  • Client service oriented and able to partner with individuals at all levels
  • Effective, clear, and concise communication skills, verbal and written
  • Some experience within the innovation economy is preferred


If hired in NY or SF, the base pay for this position is generally between $117895-159505 annually. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors
