Responsibilities

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Customer Support Specialist to join our team in the greater Zurich area. In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-level support to our clients, leveraging your expertise in SWIFT and SIC/euroSIC systems, as well as your deep understanding of financial messaging protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, handling triage and creating support tickets as needed
  • Resolve first-level customer issues using your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills

  • Escalate unresolved cases to the appropriate second or third-level support teams
  • Monitor the alarm system and take necessary actions to address any errors or incidents
  • Ensure customer inquiries are addressed within the defined service level agreements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a technical customer support role within the banking or financial services industry
  • Proven expertise in SWIFT, SIC/euroSIC systems, as well as financial messaging protocols
  • Expertise in SECOM beneficial
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German (native level) and proficient in English
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to recognize complex relationships and dependencies
  • Proactive and assertive approach to escalating issues and collaborating with relevant teams
  • Flexibility to work in a shift-based environment, including early morning and late evening hours
