Executive search at Finastra plays a pivotal role as a trusted partner to achieve strategic goals. We collaborate to drive a high-performance leadership culture and the realization of Finastra's leadership standards and behaviours. We ensure there is structured assessment and selection, driven by data and insights, while delivering great candidate and stakeholder experience. We authentically and compellingly represent the Finastra brand and deepen market relationships.

The Executive Research Partner leads on research assignments in partnership with the Director of Executive Research acting as the recruiter, carrying out original desktop research as well as approaching and screening candidates. Research includes all secondary sources such digital platforms, open-source, as well as primary sources. The research partner headhunts passive talent in the market, approaching for live searches as well as succession planning and networking. The role represents the Finastra brand up to C-Suite level, offering a compelling and credible perspective to attract talent.

You will present candidates to an audience up to CEO level, clearly articulating research insights and market perspective to stakeholders in meetings and maintains regular reporting on searches and succession planning. The role is highly consultative, offering advice and inputs that will influence hiring decisions and strategies.

In addition, when needed, and particularly in the absence of the Director of Executive Research, the Executive Research Partner leads selected executive search processes end to end, either as an in-house process or with an external agency. The role also supports internal hiring processes end to end, coaching and guiding the business to manage these in a structured way.

The Executive Research Partner records data, working closely with a Search Analyst, to make sure that data can be aggregated and converted into insights.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

  • Research, headhunting, screening and creating candidate reports.
  • Consultative responsibility, sharing insights and offering advice.
  • Leading internal and external searches end to end as needed, collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Advising on talent and supporting the business to create scorecards and interview questions.
  • Builds market relationships and talent-pools candidates.
  • Other strategic search-related projects.

Required Skills & Experiences:

  • Track-record of executive search research at C-Suite
  • Experiencing of managing end to end executive hires.
  • Experience supporting executive level assessment processes.
  • High level of intellectual curiosity
  • Attention to detail, creativity and perseverance.
  • Verbal and written skills to engage at C-suite.

Summary:

The role sets the standard of research excellence through diligence and intellectual curiosity. Furthermore, the search partner represents the search function and Finastra brand at the most senior levels. The person has the versatility to support and advise the business on several search-related topics and end-to end processes.
