This is an exciting lead generation opportunity for an enthusiastic individual within a leading financial services software organization. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a vital role in demand generation, working closely with both our Marketing and Sales teams. Your job will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
Responsibilities & Deliverables
Your duties as Sales Development Representative will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails and maintaining a log of that activity within the company's engagement platform and CRM.
- Identifying client and prospect needs and suggesting appropriate products/services.
- Working closely with the marketing team to make sure suitable messaging is distributed to your clients.
- Keeping up to date with current industry trends, competitors, and current/new company products and services.
- Participating in user group meetings and trade shows as needed.
- Participating in training programmes as directed by your manager.
- Maintaining sales forecasting data in the company's sales reporting system.
- Reporting on periodic sales results.

Experience
- Prior experience of working within the banking industry, either for a financial institution or a technology vendor would be of benefit.
- 0-2 years of inbound and/or outbound business-to-business phone marketing or sales experience.
- Finastra is an English-speaking company. For this role, Spanish is a should-have.
- Track record of selling over the phone with a history of exceeding sales goals.
- Account Management experience a plus.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.
Work Environment
- Work is performed in a hybrid office environment.
- This role will provide support for the Americas, and the ideal candidate will have the ability to flex their working schedule to accommodate the required time-zones as necessary.
