What will you Contribute?

As a Product Marketing Manager, reporting to the Head of Marketing (Universal Banking), you will be responsible for developing positioning, messaging and sales collateral for our universal banking products.

In this role, you will work with Sales, Product Management and the wider Marketing organization to translate our product offering into a value proposition and message - to support Sales in selling effectively and ultimately drive demand generation and pipeline growth.

You will need a deep understanding of current trends and challenges faced by established and emerging financial institutions (retail, SME and commercial banking) as it relates to Core banking products, as well as an understanding of software and product launch processes. The goal is to help Universal Banking become a leader in next-generation core banking solutions globally. You will craft the story and shape the approach to maximize brand awareness in the market. You must be evangelical about our strategy and ensure our go to market execution reflects the appropriate messaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with colleagues in UB (product, sales) to develop end-to-end product marketing plans to cover launch, targeting, messaging and especially content deliverables.
  • Be the product marketing representative in GTM activity and assist product managers with sales enablement.
  • Develop and deliver product-related content (e.g. brochures, demo videos, website content) for UB's banking products
  • Determine need and deliver sales enablement tools pertaining to messaging, value proposition, etc.
  • Understands and stays current on market trends. Occasionally, performs market research and understands the strategic implications.
  • Support the creation of industry content including whitepapers and thought leadership blogs
  • Continually monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks and recommend strategic and tactical strategies
  • Work with colleagues on product awards and analyst update engagement.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in B2B software product marketing, within the Financial Services industry
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse array of senior stakeholders.
  • Significant experience in the marketing of software products.
  • Proven ability to define marketing objectives, utilize external insight and competitive insight to develop category growth.
  • Strong leadership, project management and organizational skills.
  • Desire to collaborate and build consensus in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers to determine critical product and sales messaging needs
  • Excellent communication and stellar interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
