Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Coordination: Coordinate with the HR team for payroll input to ensure payroll is processed successfully.
- Journal Entries: Post payroll journal entries (payroll entries and accruals) accurately and timely.
- Financial Records: Maintain all financial year records and represent them to auditors, ensuring all queries are addressed for successful closure of books.
- Audit Support: Assist in statutory audit readiness and engage with auditors on any clarifications.
- Service Provider Management: Work closely with payroll service providers to ensure timely delivery of input and output, facilitating internal cash flow planning and ensuring closure without any slippage.
- Benefits and Compensation Partnership: Partner with benefits and compensation teams on topics related to AMER payroll.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor court orders and statutory notices closely, ensuring timely responses within stipulated deadlines.
- Cash Flow Coordination: Coordinate with Treasury, FP&A, and other teams to monitor cash movements and plan effectively to maintain sufficient funds for payroll payouts.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of payroll experience, specifically in North America.
- Strong knowledge of payroll accounting and accruals.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with statutory audits and financial reporting.
