About the Marketing Associate opportunity
Finastra is actively seeking talented, ambitious, and curious individual to join our Marketing FinStart Program starting in Summer 2025. This unique, early careers development program is an excellent opportunity to accelerate your career by enhancing your skills, building meaningful relationships, and participating in challenging and innovative projects while rotating through various areas of the Lending marketing team.
You will be supported with mentorship and training throughout the program to help guide your career development. While you take on various challenges, you will get to work with awesome people in a highly collaborative environment.

Our program provides a foundational 2 years, immersed in fast-paced marketing activities and working alongside a diverse team of marketing professionals. You will additionally gain experience within the fintech space and will work on content to elevate our innovations and software within the banking and financial services industry.
We have marketing opportunities with rotations within the Lending Business Unit at Finastra, covering experience across Field, Campaigns, and Product Marketing, including both activity planning and reporting
We are recruiting at our Bucharest office, although the role will include collaboration with our global marketing teams, providing a fun and educational environment. We also offer a highly flexible working environment that enables home working combined with collaboration in the office. On-the-job training and mentorship with senior marketing professionals are all part of the program that has been highly successful in launching marketing careers.
Participants report to the Head of Marketing, Sales Enablement & Comms within the Lending Business Unit, with mentorship and buddies allocated throughout the two years. You will work together on a project timeline to be agreed upon joining the business. Quarterly reviews will ensure progress and the building of skills and knowledge.

What you'll need.
- Degree in marketing and/ or other related disciplines
- 0-1 years marketing experience
- Capable at organizing and structuring work
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Professional Fluency in English
- Project management experience/ training
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong data and analysis skills
- Core Office 365 skills and other digital tools, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail both written and brand guidelines
- A strong and committed drive to pursue a career marketing
What you will learn:
This position will gain a good practical understanding of many aspects of B2B marketing including brand, PR, content, digital, events and social within our large global team of marketers. You will additionally gain experience within the fintech space and will work on content to elevate our innovations and platform solution. You will gain a grounding in marketing software within the banking and financial services industry.
