The Payroll Director will play a critical role in enabling the organisation to meet its strategic objectives. By demonstrating guidance, you will be able to impact and drive change, have an influential impact across the organisation whilst maintaining accountability for the global payroll process.
You will have Finastra employees front and foremost within this role. With an unwavering commitment to operational excellence you will take pride in guiding multi geography teams who deliver a timely and accurate payroll experience. You will think strategically, optimizing and supporting payroll across all geographies with visionary leadership, having the ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement to deliver optimized outcomes for Finastra. You will be expected to demonstrate a true partnership with Executives with proactive stakeholder management to leverage skills and capabilities of others. A trusted business partner, you will have a high "say/do" ethos and deliver on commitments.

Strategic Goals:
- Developing a continuous improvement culture to streamline and standardize payroll processes
- Fostering a collaborate working environment to unlock the potential of over 20 staff
- Foster a performance based culture to exceed organizational expectations by maintaining process quality and efficiently turning around queries
- Unlocking first class service by managing the third party payroll service providers on service level agreements, quality and cost of service
- Comfortable steering automation initiatives and application of new age technologies
Key Deliverables:
- Overseeing the global payroll team for all Finastra employees including the accounting & reconciliation of all payroll related accounts
- Working with HR services teams to ensure a streamlined input/output process for salary payouts and necessary paperwork for employees at year end
- 100% compliance in all jurisdictions
- Cash-flow forecasting as well as working with Analytics teams on accurate people cost reporting

Qualifications:
- Payroll/Accounting/Finance experience +15 years, accounting experience is an advantage
- Experience of multi-country payrolls
- Experience of managing third party service vendors
- Working knowledge on payroll taxation
