Role Profile
The role is within the Cloud Applications team. We strive for our engineers to work within small, agile, self-managed teams that emphasise best practice and believe quality is everyone's responsibility. They bring an enthusiastic "you build it you run it" mindset whilst making sure they share their knowledge while removing constraints.
You will have the opportunity to work on our cloud first initiative contributing to how we design, build, and implement cloud solutions. It goes hand in hand that troubleshooting, enhancing the environments, and ensuring service availability will be a key part of this role.
Tech Profile
Azure, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Kubernetes, Git, Gitlab, Azure DevOps, Elastic Search, Scripting Technologies (Bash / Python / PowerShell), Control-M, Jira, Confluence, .NET, NodeJS, YAML
Experience wise:
Minimum 3+ years of experience as DevOps Engineer particularly with various Public Cloud Platform like Azure (preferred) and AWS, using Cloud-Native and various open-source technologies.
- Strong SysAdmin knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of various scripting languages like PowerShell, NodeJS, Python, Bash, etc. as well declaratives like YAML and JSON.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps pipelines, , GitOps & IAC (Terraform preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of configuration & compliance management tools, cloud native like Azure Automanage as well COTS products like Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
