Business Intelligence Senior Reporting Analyst

Responsibilities

What will you contribute?
This role is the database person in the business. Responsible for managing and executing the database management of our billing and reporting data, interfacing with finance on forecasting, billing accounting on accruals, data analyses on maintaining and updating with data and structure and reporting for all of the business.

Job description:

  • Research, develop, modify, and deploy data-collection processes; creating and maintaining databases with relevant information
  • Review and validate incoming data
  • Analyze data before reporting findings and data-driven recommendations to the company for decision making
  • Collaborate regularly with various departments and staff members to generate Business Performance reports and metrics for overall strategy development
  • Analyze data for market patterns and trends
  • Support Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables teams to monitor invoice collection, reconcile variances between ledgers and reports, and ensure accurate billing to clients
  • Support sales and marketing departments with data driven information to target relevant market share and reach goals
  • Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers

Required Qualifications:

  • One to six years of experience as a financial or business analyst
  • Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
  • Ability to use SQL and Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs and charts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers
  • Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
  • General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow.
