What will you contribute?

Reporting to the Accounting lead and located in Bangalore, the Accounting Analyst will be part the Global Finance organization of Finastra.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Your deliverables as a Accounting Analyst will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • • Should have strong accounting knowledge

    • Should be able to collaborate and be action oriented

    • Should have good communication skills and interpersonal skills

    • Requires working knowledge and expanded conceptual knowledge in accounting and broadens capabilities

    • Demonstrates knowledge of the company, processes and clients; performs a range of assignments related to job discipline

• Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgement and precedents (e.g. conducts analysis and structures data interpretation, prepares reports, monitors compliance of processes, etc.)

• Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations

• Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction

• Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team or across areas supported

• Understands key business or professional area drivers;

• Demonstrates knowledge of the organization, clients and processes; uses this understanding to accomplish their work

• No supervisory responsibilities but provides informal guidance to new team members or to provide process guidance to others

• Solves problems in a variety of situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, judgement and precedents

• Impacts quality of their own work and closely related teams

• Works within guidelines, policies and agreed methods

• Explains and simplifies complex information to others, converts data to business information and anticipates obstacles to information flow
Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CA, or CA (Inter), MBA in Finance
  • 3-6 years of experience in accounting or financial roles
  • High degree of computer proficiency, particularly Microsoft Excel and general ledger software
