What will you contribute?
Reporting to the Accounting Operations Lead and located in Bangalore, the Accounting Operations Analyst will be part the Global Finance organization of Finastra.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables as a Accounting Operations Analyst will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Accruing the Sales Commission cost based on the sales bookings and using a pre-determined rate of commission based on the plan
- Perform True-up / True-down of the accruals based on the actual payout
- Amortize the commission cost ratably over time for the revenue that is recognized over a period of time
- Support the Group Audit, Statutory Audit and Internal audits from time to time
- Closely liaise with multiple stakeholders with the organization as well as with auditors

Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in sales commission or incentive accounting
- High degree of computer proficiency, particularly Microsoft Excel and general ledger software
- Be a self-starter with high level of focus and dedication
