Job Description:
Fidelity Investments is seeking a Vice President of Brand & Marketing Research to lead the strategy of insights that shape and differentiate our brand, drive compelling campaigns and advertising, and improve our market efficiency! Reporting to the SVP of Research and Integrated Insights, this leader will play a meaningful role in ensuring our marketing and advertising strategies are data-driven, data-backed, and highly effective.
The Role
- Lead research and analytics to uncover actionable insights that elevate Fidelity's brand positioning, messaging, and creative efficiency
- Drive deep understanding of consumer and market trends to find opportunities for brand differentiation
- Partner with marketing, including brand, consumer segment, creative, and media teams, to ensure insights drive the development of impactful advertising, marketing campaigns and brand strategies
- Lead all aspects of brand tracking and advertising efficiency measurement, including benchmarking
- Act as a leader with vision and trusted advisor, providing clear, data-informed recommendations to senior leadership
- Collaborate with analytics teams, external agencies, and marketing partners to analyze and connect different datasets include advertising efficiency, media, brand, and qualitative and quantitative findings, to uncover insights and develop recommendations
- Integrate research into compelling narratives that influence decision-making
- Identify and implement practices in brand health measurement, advertising testing, and consumer segmentation
- Drive the organization's understanding of emerging media and advertising trends that impact brand perception

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 15+ years of shown experience in brand strategy, advertising research, and consumer insights, preferably within financial services or a related industry
- Shown leadership experience leading high-performing teams and influencing senior leadership
- Expertise in brand equity measurement, advertising efficiency, segmentation, and consumer behavior analytics
- Strong understanding of marketing and media landscapes, including digital, social, and traditional advertising
- Excellent storytelling and interpersonal skills to translate insights into clear, actionable strategies
- Ability to drive innovation, using ground breaking research techniques and data growth opportunities
