The Team

Fidelity Real Estate Company is the corporate real estate division of Fidelity Investments, providing a full range of services to Fidelity business units nationally and internationally. We manage more than 11 million square feet of space in the United States and overseas, including thirteen North American and six international locations, multiple data centers and more than 200 retail investor centers.

The leader of Investor Center Partnerships works closely with the Wealth Investor Center leadership team to re-imagine and manage solutions for our investor centers, including developing and implementing new concepts such as Wealth Hubs and National Investor Centers in our regional locations. These centers serve as an extension of our brand for our customers. We demonstrate operational excellence in all facets of our daily work.

The Vice President of Investor Center Partnerships will drive asset value through critical thinking, effective communication, expense management, infrastructure planning and execution all in support of our customers and associates. To do this, the Vice President will collaborate with many groups inside and outside of Fidelity Real Estate including, Leasing & Transactions, Project Design and Delivery, Real Estate Finance, Branch Operations, Procurement, Security and Wealth Leadership, which requires strong interpersonal abilities.

This role reports to the Head of Fidelity Real Estate and will have a dedicated team including full time and contractor resources.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Operations, Real Estate management or related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Direct experience managing a portfolio of retail real estate locations.
  • Track record managing a large portfolio of retail real estate projects and operations.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team of associates, developers, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Proven expertise developing and leading sophisticated strategic initiatives, with experience delivering successful outcomes.
  • Experience applying creative frameworks to quickly innovate, improve and sustain impactful programs.
  • Ability to initiate and develop relationships to effectively collaborate with internal and external team members in a matrix environment.
  • A consumer-first attitude with curiosity and passion to deliver against unmet needs.
  • Confidence and ability to apply financial and operational considerations to develop strategies and execution plans.
  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications.
  • Comfort and success operating in a fast-paced culture with multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
  • Ability to effectively message a clear strategic vision and influence partners throughout all levels of an organization.

The Value You Deliver

  • Partnership with Wealth to apply and adapt a comprehensive multiyear dynamic plan for our Investor Center real estate strategy.
  • Partner with other real estate subject areas to align on priorities, develop solutions, evolve programs, and drive consistent results.
  • Connect with Wealth Investor Center leaders to ensure a cohesive and seamless strategic framework and operational excellence with an emphasis on customer and associate engagement.
  • Develop frameworks to support leadership decisions and integrate program experience to project future outcomes.
  • Drive collaboration and consistency of operations across locations.
  • Provide vendor management and oversight of 3rd party facility management partners.
  • Lead portfolio-wide projects and programs, as appropriate.
  • Manage a team of leaders and associates, focusing on goals setting, professional development, leadership, and ongoing communication.
  • Focus on financial stewardship: develop ways to increase asset value, decrease operating expenses, and prioritize fiscal discipline in capital spending.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to be onsite at Fidelity locations a minimum of 50% of the time
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
