The Role
The Fidelity Institutional Organization is seeking a Vice President of Investment Insights to lead the curation of differentiated insights that empower financial advisors and investment allocators. This entails gathering deep understand of client needs then tapping into the vast research, thought leadership, and investor behavioral data across Fidelity to tailoring and synthesizing valuable insights. The content spans investment, practice management, and portfolio construction insights that help to drive client outcomes. You will coordinate the execution across marketing, sales, asset management, analytics, and market readiness to deliver these relevant insights to our clients.
Additionally, the candidate will lead a team of Investment Analyst with deep subject matter expertise in conducting product, market, and competitive analysis across equity, fixed income, and alternatives markets offered in multiple structures including mutual funds, ETFs and SMAs. As a primary partner to our sales organization, we strive to provide high-quality investment insights and support for client inquiries related to our investment solutions. The team supports all channels including broker-dealer, RIA, banking, and insurance.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree required.
- CFA preferred.
- 15+ years of investment product, sales, or equivalent experience.
- Series 7, 63 and 24 licenses required (24 may be obtained post-hiring).
- Experience in creating compelling and action-inducing stories using data and analytics. This includes investment insights, thought-leadership, and marketing materials.
- Technical expertise in investment analytics, performance analysis, reporting, market data charting and provisioning, and communications including video production and multi-media content.
- Can work across a complex, matrixed organization to meet business partners' needs and collaborate to advance business strategic priorities.
- Ability to build internal partnerships and relationships in a team environment.
- Experience recruiting and leading high-talent teams.
- Track record of coaching teams to high levels of execution with client-obsessed mentality.
- Maintains excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel 25%.

Fidelity Institutional provides investment management services through investment professionals at financial institutions nationwide including wirehouses, regionals and independent broker/dealers, bank, trust companies, and insurance companies. The company offers Fidelity Advisor Funds, ETF's, Variable Insurance Products (VIP) Portfolios, Fidelity Advisor 529 Plans, Systematic Investment Plans, Institutional Money Market funds, and a comprehensive line of retirement products and services in partnership with Fidelity's Workplace Investing arm. Our clients are financial institutions and investment professionals (IPs). Fidelity's hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Having the majority of our associates work onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture.
