The Team
As the Delivery Team Leader, Cash Technology & Platforms, you will use your energy, business / technical expertise, and ability to build and deliver platform strategies and priorities to drive business outcomes. You will lead a team of software engineers and analysts to organize and decompose domain priorities into manageable pieces of work to streamline quality development and improve time to market.

The Role
The Delivery Team Leader brings a strong blend of product, platform, and engineering expertise to one or more platform features or capabilities. The Cash Technology & Platforms team has the responsibility to plan and lead the modernization of more than thirty mainframe applications representing over two hundred unique capabilities. In this role, the Delivery Team Leader will lead initiatives in the Cash & Payments Platform Team, which support Fidelity's Cash Management Account, FDIC product, Bill Pay, Check Writing, Direct Deposit and Direct Debit product offerings.
The Skills and Expertise You Bring
- +10 years of platform, technology, product management and direct people management experiences
- Demonstrated expertise working in an agile organization and/or are familiar with agile principles.
- Deep understanding of agile and strategies for maximizing the effectiveness of the methodology through best practices, coaching and continuous improvement
- Proven history, inspiring the creativity and innovation of your teams, creating a culture of inclusion, experimentation, exploration, and continuous learning.
- Ability to influence others, build and maintain working relationships, and deliver results and/or expertise in a professional manner.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
- Detailed understanding of various technologies, including mainframe (COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM), distributed and cloud platforms. (FBSI experience a plus)
- Strong analytical capability to help translate customer and/or business needs into scalable, reusable technology.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience required.
The Value You Deliver
- Accountable for technical solutioning and product management of platform features.
- Collaborate with Platform Team Leader, Architecture, and other delivery teams on setting/implementing technical direction and ensure alignment with Fidelity's technology strategy.
- Manage and track dependencies with other platforms or initiatives; and support resolution of impediments escalated by Delivery Team
- Lead delivery of high quality, scalable, performant software to Fidelity Wealth and Fidelity Brokerage customers.
- Provide day-to-day leadership for a delivery team and indirect leadership for supporting teams.
- Collaborate with Platform Team Leaders to plan for and provide the skilled talent needed to ensure team has the right expertise, at the right time, to get work done.
- Support curation and delivery of large learning events and facilitate learning at scale to promote skill, career, and development growth across Cash Technology and Platforms Team members.
