Sr. Manager, Strategic Sourcing
The senior manager role on Fidelity Procurement's strategic sourcing team leads Procurement projects of medium to high level complexity, typically in support of a single business group. This role will work with business partners to improve Fidelity's position to broker for the right products, at the right price and contractual terms. Individuals should possess experience working across many business segments, including technology, marketing, financial services, and consulting services. They should exhibit strong communications skills as they partner with Fidelity leaders across our business units to achieve stronger scale and efficiency for Fidelity.

- BS/BA in business administration or 5-8 years of equivalent experience in Procurement
- Background in sourcing, contracting, or related experience in vendor or product management
- Experience evaluating, negotiating and contracting with suppliers
- Ability to lead/ influence cross-functional teams through procurement projects
- Ability to assess risk and translate requirements to viable business solutions
- Experience with business analytics, developing and presenting business cases and recommendations to decision-makers
- Experience working with leaders at all levels, from the front lines to the C-Suite
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally, verbally and in writing, to all levels of the organization
- Flexibility to changing needs and process requirements
- Commitment to drive data stewardship to ensure data integrity
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to multi-task
- Extremely strong process orientation and demonstrated continuous improvement skills
- Supplier relationship skills; continuously, but constructively, demanding of supplier performance
- Passion for improving quality and reducing costs - passion for driving optimum business outcomes
- Capable of performing financial, technical and performance evaluations of suppliers
