Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic leader to drive one of the firms top ongoing priorities - battling anti-digital practices with a focus on reducing Print, Paper and Postage. This role requires a background in strategic program management, cross-company enterprise collaboration, direct and virtual team management, and effective executive communication. The role will lead the PMO team and serve as the program manager for all efforts related to paper elimination across Fidelity Investments.

The role has significant cross-company senior executive visibility and involves working closely with the Enterprise Operations Council led by Ron DePoalo to drive results. This is a great opportunity to work on one of the most important priorities of the company, drive significant business impact, work dynamically across the enterprise, and gain exposure to senior leaders including the Enterprise Senior Management Team.

This enterprise leadership role will steward our multi-year effort to eliminate paper and have a tangible impact on Fidelity's long-term success. We have aggressive goals in 2025 (20% reduction in 325+ million Outbound envelopes and 10% reduction in 8+ million Inbound envelopes) with sustained further reductions targeted in 2026 and beyond.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

This enterprise leadership role partners with leaders across Fidelity, including Crystal Morrison who is the co-lead for the Paper Elimination effort. This effort is one of the four workstreams of the enterprise Operations Council with executive sponsors Bob Adams and Tonya Douglas. You will work to continue to establish the paper elimination targets and KPIs for Fidelity. This will require understanding and documenting all ongoing and planned efforts to address these goals and targets as well as coordinating the data analysis necessary to understand progress, opportunities, and challenges facing us in our efforts to eliminate paper and address anti-digital practices. You will lead efforts to determine whether ongoing efforts are sufficient, which need prioritization, and where additional focus and escalation is necessary.

You will act as the primary "face" of the enterprise effort with regular updates to executive leadership. You will develop and deliver the "narrative" and communications necessary to keep focus and drive change; assess the capacity and resources dedicated to the effort and make recommendations regarding resource planning; and you will document dependencies and critical path items needed to continue significant progress.

  • Designing, coordinating, and leading frequent executive updates - Operations Council, Business Unit Updates, Executive Leadership meetings
  • Working with L2 leaders in each BU to understand priorities, win advocacy and secure resources
  • Design and deliver clear communications to a diverse audience - from line associates to CEO
