Job Responsibilities

• Represent Quality Engineering as point of contact for product area and Squad leaders.
• Develop test strategies for test data, test coverage and automation solutions.
• Drive escalation, metrics and status communication.
• Partner closely with Chapter Team Lead Resource Managers to identify resource gaps, training needs, and to provide feedback.
• Participate in squad level sprint activities and supports delivery of test and automation solutions.
• Provides technical leadership and mentoring to quality engineers.
• Promote WI Quality Engineering Best Practices, Standards and Processes.
• Collaborates with developers and business analysts to resolve issues or questions pertaining to test creation or execution.
• Facilitate alignment to automation standards and support overall DevOps Integration.
• Identify, communicate, and proactively lead project risks as well those of our supporting teams (as applicable).
• Partner with development teams and promote understanding of quality engineering and its role in the project lifecycle.
• Support the overall team's quality objectives and process improvement initiatives.
• Experience in documenting and reviewing technical scripts specific to mainframe CICS.
• Expected to have hands on all the mandatory skills as listed in the skillset.

Skills

• Test & Automation Tools: Jira, X-ray, Cucumber.
• Experience in testing APIs using RestAssured.
• ETL testing experience with exposure to automation for Data Migration.
• Strong Mainframe testing experience with DB2, COBOL, Batch job processing, Control M.
• Knowledge on programming Languages such as Java and Python.
• API Tools: Insomnia, Bruno, SOAPUI.
• DevOPS Tools: Jenkins, Git repositories.
• Databases: Informatica - Power center manager, SQL Developer, Oracle, Snowflake, POSTGRES, SQL-SERVER, IBM DB2.
• iCEDQ validation tool.
• Monitoring Tools: Splunk logs, Datadog logs.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science (or closely related).
• 10+ years of experience in software development and test.
• Understanding and/or experience with DevOps/Pipelines.
• Certifications in AWS or similar cloud platforms are a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills needed for agile team.
