Brokerage Alternative Investments Representative II - Aged Follow Up/Out of Standard

The Role

The Alternative Investments Brokerage Operations role is responsible for following up with Sponsors and TA's to obtain acknowledgements and confirmations of pending transactions that are 20 days or older in a timely manner on behalf of our clients and to mitigate risk and exposure to the organization. These activities are performed daily and require adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Throughout this role you will build and maintain strong relationships while providing an exemplary client experience for all Fidelity clients.

  • The Aged team follows up on trades, ACAT and Non-ACAT Receives, Internal Transfers, and Conversions.
  • The aged team is also responsible for several other ancillary processes for the department.

  • College degree preferred.
  • Prior experience with alternative investments process experience is preferred.
  • Detail oriented, ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to process customer data quickly and accurately.

  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and processes.

  • Analyze, research, and resolve discrepancies in accordance with departmental SLA's to minimize risk to the company.
  • Partner with stakeholders to collect reporting information.
  • Interact with a variety of customers, client and agents relative to your role.
  • Ensure policy and procedures are followed and paperwork requirements are met in order to minimize risk.

The Team

Operations & Services Group (OSG) provides superior customer service to Fidelity's Institutional Products Group's businesses through innovation, dedication and commitment to excellence. With eight operating divisions located throughout the country, OSG provides securities execution, clearance, and information management services to retail, institutional, and correspondent clients. OSG performs tens of thousands of over the counter, listed equities, options, bonds, and mutual fund transactions daily.

An Alternative Investment (AI) is a highly specialized investment vehicle that is tailored to sophisticated, high net-worth investors and are not traded on any public market. Our Alternative Investments group services all Fidelity lines of business and handles end-to-end operations from onboarding of assets, all transactions, reconciliation, and servicing requests.
The base salary range for this position is $39,000-$61,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
