The Role
The Senior Project Manager is an important member of the Investor Center Partnerships (ICP) Program Team. The Senior Project Manager (SPM) provides support to the Director of Investor Center Partnerships. The SPM will oversee tactical aspects of the Program from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. The SPM provides proactive, forward-thinking leadership to the team by connecting various team members, providing organizational context/standard processes, and finding new ways to improve end to end project delivery!
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- A bachelor's degree in construction, real estate management or related field; an advanced degree is preferred or equal experience in the industry relevant certifications are a plus.
- 7-10 years of experience managing the design and construction of projects in commercial real estate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience in CAD or Bluebeam is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of project / construction / program management, design, engineering, real estate industries and related industry groups
- Familiarity with standard project processes and durations, standard building engineering, operations and technology processes and infrastructure
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and make sound decisions by soliciting input from others and considering tradeoffs, present options, and make recommendations.
- Ability to communicate professionally, with tact and diplomacy, to represent Fidelity appropriately
- Comfort and success operating in a fast-paced culture with multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.

The Value You Deliver
- Manages and coordinates a program of projects-standards, scopes, schedules, budgets with focus on end-to-end delivery to ensure on budget and on time completion.
- Develop frameworks to support leadership decisions and integrate project and construction management experience to influence and execute desired outcomes.
- Identifies and evaluates options and alternative solutions to best meet program requirements and achieve project goals.
- Manages vendor partners, ensuring all activities are aligned with project goals, budgets, standards, and timelines.
- Oversee pre-qualification and bid evaluation process for consultants, contractors, and other outside vendors, and responsible for final vendor selection as required.
- Conducts site inspections and advises leadership on project or construction related issues and collaborates with internal business partners and teams to implement solutions.
- Prepares budget and schedule estimates for proposed recommendations and provides support documentation for project funding authorization (e.g. business case presentations).
- A keen sense of ownership and accountability, ; demonstrate initiative, adapt to changing business priorities to drive projects forward in a complex, cross-functional working environment.
Other Requirements
- Ability to be onsite at Fidelity locations a minimum of 50% of the time.
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
