Advises, mentors, coaches, and trains on performance against Agile values, practices, and processes to accelerate squad value delivery. In conjunction with the squad leader, maintains a backlog, helps to remove impediments, and facilitates Agile ceremonies such as daily stand up, Sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. Engages in release management coordination and participates in scaling ceremonies and activities, managing interdependencies across squads and product areas. Examines and drives team performance through metrics and finds opportunities for the squad to fully realize the benefits of working in an Agile structure. Supports the squad by engaging with all team members and product area leadership to reinforce and embed an Agile approach and principles into day-to-day work. Coordinates the efforts of multiple systems teams to deliver a seamlessly integrated solution to customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates Agile Scrum events - stand-ups, program increment and sprint planning, release planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Project manages customer projects/activities by interfacing with customers/clients for software product development and support.
  • Assists product and platform owners and development teams in achieving customer satisfaction and delivering state of the art analytics platforms.
  • Plans and coordinates project schedules and makes project assignments for multiple projects.
  • Reviews and approves labor/service charges to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Determines system performance standards.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Product Manager (or closely related occupation) identifying critical applications, determining complexity and preparing phase wise migration plans to be implemented using Agile methodologies.

Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Product Manager (or closely related occupation) identifying critical applications, determining complexity and preparing phase wise migration plans to be implemented using Agile methodologies.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

  • Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") developing and managing Agile and Program Increment planning for large client implementation project; coordinating and facilitating Agile methodologies and practices - quarterly planning, backlog creation, story estimation, sprint and release planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospective - using JIRA, Confluence, Jira Align, Mural, and Flow Metrics.
  • DE researching, optimizing, developing, and documenting technical solution requirements, user stories, and specifications for moderate to complex financial applications in an Agile development environment, using MS office Suite, RTC, Clarity, and Planview.
  • DE coordinating and program managing Agile ceremonies throughout complex multi-squad product-delivery programs; developing and coordinating Agile maturity and health assessments; and developing and facilitating Value stream mapping across product areas.
  • DE guiding Scrum of Scrums to accommodate dependencies throughout the product area; facilitating the prioritization and removal of impediments for cross-team dependencies, release planning, and change/ incident management using ServiceNow.
