Position Description:
Applies Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) to software design and development to provide graphical notation of standard internal business procedures. Modernizes operational business processes by partnering closely with business, operations, and software engineers teams to implement sophisticated workflow solutions on a new workflow platform. Facilitates the technical delivery of BPM solutions, integrations, and custom extensions to automate repetitive tasks, manage fundamental processing, and handle process logics.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborates closely with business and technical teams to define and implement end to end BPM solutions.

- Programs in Java/Groovy and JavaScript to support business process improvement and business process re-engineering projects.
- Uses a Java-based framework to build applications connecting to a remote workflow engine - Camunda.
- Directs daily operations, analyzes workflow, establishes priorities, develops standards and sets deadlines.
- Meets with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
- Reviews project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Product Management (or closely related occupation) designing and delivering applications using Business Process Model Notation (BPMN) or Domain Modeling Notation (DMN) in a financial service environment.
Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Product Management (or closely related occupation) designing and delivering applications using Business Process Model Notation (BPMN) or Domain Modeling Notation (DMN) in a financial service environment.
Skills and Knowledge:
Candidate must also possess:
- Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") designing and developing data visualizations and reports using data from Snowflake/Power BI live data streaming set and presenting using visualization tools - PowerBI or Tableau.
- DE building workflow orchestrations and model driven apps using Camunda Modeler, IBM Process Designer or Power Apps; writing efficient custom delegates for reusable business use cases using Java; and troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues in Camunda BPM process models and in the Camunda platform.
- DE implementing business management or workflow solutions using XTRAC, Appian, IBM BPM, or Camunda.
- DE developing and automating functionality of multi-tiered financial applications in Java or JavaScript in an Agile methodology environment.
