The Role
The Senior Manager, Global Technology Experience will be an integral part of a newly formed team within Enterprise Technology Strategy and Planning that accelerates enterprise priorities, improves the global technologist experience, fosters a cohesive global culture and community, and continues to establish Fidelity as a leader in technology across the financial services industry! The team's goals are to enable technologists to connect to enterprise priorities, key initiatives across Enterprise Technology, Fidelity Technology, and most importantly, each other. This role provides the unique opportunity to create new experiences from the ground up, and shape the future of the technology associate experience at Fidelity.

As a member of the Global Technology Experience team, the Senior Manager will develop engaging, multi-channel content to be delivered through immersive events and programming that connects associates to Fidelity Technology priorities, provides professional development for associates, and advances Fidelity Technology thought leadership. The Senior Manager will build and manage relationships with stakeholders from across Fidelity Technology as well as with Corporate Affairs, Meetings & Events, Compliance, Legal, Enterprise Relationship Management, Talent Acquisition and Marketing, and with key external vendors, open source foundations, and publications.
A hands-on and self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment within a matrixed organization, this individual will:
- Develop and support the execution of high value, innovative and unique experiences.
- Understand the connection between Fidelity and Enterprise Technology's strategic vision and build engaging programming and experiences to support that connection.
- Participate in various working teams and strategic projects resulting in increased thought leadership, engagement, and awareness for associates across the enterprise.
- Champion technology experiences for all levels of the organization and the domains you support to ensure all voices are represented.
- In collaboration with ET and FT partners, foster a culture of learning through the development of programs and activities that support individual, organizational, and enterprise goals.
The Skills and Expertise You Bring
- 5 to 7 years of professional experience in large program/project management, marketing, communications, and/or event management, preferably in a technology company or organization
- Experienced in managing groups of stakeholders to implement global, integrated programs, preferably for a technology and/or innovation organization
- Proven success in building strong, trusted relationships and fostering collaboration amongst multiple groups to ensure alignment of programs and to enable continuous improvement
- Willingness to pitch in at all levels and tasks to help the team succeed
- Excellent verbal communication skills; ability to articulate concepts and ideas in abstract in order to influence across the enterprise, including up to senior leadership
- Strong technical writing and editing skills; attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to think and act quickly and strategically
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for measuring program efficiency with metrics
- Knowledge of and strong ability to produce content for digital and social media channels; graphic design skills a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint)

focuses on providing consistent, strategic, and transparent technology business management, enabling Fidelity's technology organization to effectively deliver on our customer and associate outcomes. Fidelity's hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Working onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture. We also value the benefits that working offsite offers associates. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office.

Fidelity's hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Having the majority of our associates work onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture.
