The Role

This role in Financial Data & Analytics team within Fidelity Wealth Finance will be responsible for producing accurate high-quality financial and customer & product data and information to team members, business partners, and executive leaders using Fidelity's extensive data assets and tools. The role will also work on information delivery including new and enhanced financial and operational reporting and deliver analysis and insights to influence key decisions impacting the future of the Wealth business.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Statistics, combined with a minimum of 5 years' progressive work experience in data analytics, decision support, and/or FP&A.
  • At least a foundational understanding of micro/firm level economics and managerial finance principles, P&L concepts, and financial data and reporting.
  • Experience with financial analysis projects such as business case analysis, pricing models or forecast models would be preferred. Preferably should have experience in creating presentations of the analytic insights for senior leadership.
  • Expertise and high degree of interest in working with large, complex datasets related to customers and products using data analysis tools such as SQL. Experience with reporting and visualization apps including PowerBI, Tableau, Domo will be an advantage.
  • Applicants should have strong analytic skills, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving capabilities. A learning mind-set and flexibility to work on varied projects are essential to success in the role.
  • Bring a proactive approach and operate with agility. Sensitivity and responsiveness to business partner priorities is crucial.
  • Intellectually curious, ability to connect the dots, pays close attention to detail to ensure quality output and analyses
  • Ability to handle a broad portfolio of work; must possess excellent planning, prioritization, and project management skills including ability to run multiple parallel streams of work and multiple business partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills along with an ability to work confidently and build positive relationships across all levels of the organization.

The Team

The Data & Analytics team is a key business partner to the FP&A groups within the department. We support complex and sophisticated analysis of PI's customers, segments, products, and their profitability metrics. Information generated from our data and analytics platforms enable business and financial decisions that has wide impact - including pricing, service model, marketing and acquisition efforts, and new product development among others. This role will be key in supporting Finance's efforts in the growth and development of the business.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
