Job Description:
The Role
As a Senior Communications Manager, you will work directly for the Head of Communications for Fidelity Institutional (FI) and Fund and Brokerage Operations & Technology (FBOT). You will support the development and execution of communication programs that support the business objectives of both FI and FBOT and align with Fidelity's enterprise priorities. You will also play a key role in driving communications alignment, cohesion, and consistency to supporting two interconnected businesses (FI and FBOT), especially in programs and communications that cut across both, such as performance reporting and HR initiatives. While most work will center on internal communications to Fidelity associates, you will also need to apply your external communication skills to engage audiences outside of Fidelity.

The Expertise We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-8+ years of relevant experience
- Financial services knowledge preferred
The Skills You Bring
- Helping execute communications plans that articulate business priorities, strategies, and impact, in close partnership with team members and key internal stakeholders
- Working across Corporate Affairs and with business partners (e.g., HR, Strategy & Finance, Product & Marketing, Meetings & Events, etc.) to source content, as well as align communications and messaging with other business units and enterprise-focused teams
- Creating, proof-reading, formatting, and managing distribution of business unit and senior leader communications - including collateral for events, blogs, and social media posts - for a variety of internal and external communication channels
- Managing multiple and simultaneous projects, ensuring that all efforts meet Fidelity's high standards in the areas of accuracy, ethics, legal, and compliance
- Constantly exploring new, creative, and engaging ways to engage employees with key messages across a variety of communications channels
- Partnering with in-house creative solutions team or outside vendors on video and design for communications programs
- Measuring the effectiveness of communications programs to include creation and assembly of weekly, monthly, and ad hoc communications reports for senior management
The Team
The FI and FBOT Communications team is part of the Fidelity Leadership Communications organization within Corporate Affairs. Working closely with the most senior leaders within the Fidelity Institutional (FI) and Fund and Brokerage Operations & Technology (FBOT) organizations, we develop communications programs that inspire the 11K+ associates - whether they are client-facing; creating and marketing the products, solutions or capabilities that we offer; or enabling the business through technology and operational resilience. As part of the larger Corporate Affairs team, we are able to connect our work to larger enterprise efforts that reach a range of internal and external audiences.

Fidelity's hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Having the majority of our associates work onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture.
