The Role
As a Senior Manager, Strategic Identity Solutions, you will blend data subject matter expertise, program management, and leadership skills with an obsession for delivering high quality products and capabilities that meet the needs of users, integration partners, and stakeholders!
You will not only help lead the development of data capabilities that allow us to better serve our clients, but you will also provide thought leadership and direction across Fidelity Institutional stakeholders to help advance data enablement and product adoption.
You will be as comfortable partnering and working with business stakeholders as you are working with technology stakeholders. You will need to excel at leading and encouraging others who you may not directly manage. You will be motivated by developing and streamlining repeatable processes that can help teams go faster.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 5-10 years of prior work experience, preferably in data-centric role(s) passionate about data enablement, analysis, and delivery.
- A data-focused approach to understanding customer needs, translating strategic objectives into action, and prioritizing value delivered.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining data-centric capabilities.
- The ability to lead and empower colleagues by influence.
- An obsession for driving product delivery and adoption.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships as you work across Fidelity to deliver business outcomes. The mentality to seek out the expertise of colleagues to advise on your approach.
- Dedication to developing a balance of technology and non-technology skills to fully appreciate the broad needs of our users, integration partners, and stakeholders.
- Strong focus on execution and how to identify, communicate, and remove impediments to progress.
- Intellectual curiosity and embracing of a culture of continuous learning, mentoring, and coaching.
- Experience in data enablement, data analysis, data governance and/or stewardship.
- A data-driven approach, understanding how to turn data into insights.
- Ability to understand the difference between the question being asked and the question the business needs answered.
- Experience with CRM data preferred.
- Willingness to ask questions and challenge the status quo to benefit the organization.
- Experience with development in an Agile framework preferred. Agile approach required.
- Financial services experience preferred.
- Jira and Jira Align experience preferred.
The Team
The Fidelity Institutional Strategic Identity Solutions team is part of Fidelity Institutional's broader Data Management group. The team is responsible for end-to-end product ownership of Master and Reference Data Management and other data and analytics solutions. You are an individual contributor who will set direction for technology associates as you work in partnership with broader Data and Analytics groups, as well as Business and Technology leaders across Fidelity Institutional to help deliver on the team's objectives. You will help sustain and evolve our innovative agile culture by demonstrating and promoting Fidelity agile principles!

Fidelity's hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Having the majority of our associates work onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture.
