Senior Manager, Business Development, Fidelity Digital Assets
The Role
Fidelity Digital Assets (FDA) is dedicated to building products and services that help institutions adopt digital assets and innovate within the increasingly digital world of finance. Fidelity Investments began researching blockchain technology and digital assets solutions in 2014, where years of research and development have provided us with the deep expertise necessary to build the future of finance.
The role will report to the Head of International Business Development at Fidelity Digital Assets, and contribute directly towards growing our institutional-grade custody and execution business amongst our global client base.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Proven success in an institutional business development or sales role, placing innovative financial products with institutional investors or intermediaries, preferably in the digital assets / cryptoassets space.
- Accomplished financial services executive with 6+ years' experience.
- Good understanding of and a reliable network amongst one or more of the following client segments: brokers, market-makers, proprietary trading firm, hedge funds, Family Offices, asset managers, crypto-native trading businesses and/or investment managers.
- Deep expertise in the market mechanics, participant ecosystem, and infrastructure, as it relates to digital assets, cryptocurrencies, blockchain, electronic execution, institutional custody, and brokerage marketplaces.
- Ability to quickly size up a market opportunity, strategize business relationships, understand the relevance of distribution channels, and negotiate deals.
- Exceptionally strong interpersonal skills in managing internal and external relationships in a proactive, energetic, and customer-focused way.
- Experience crafting and managing a client pipeline while driving results in a thoughtful and collaborative way.
- Adoption of the sales toolkit, including experience with CRM systems and development of pitchbooks and sales materials.
- Lead or co-lead the identification of opportunities and the setup of deal execution, including prioritization of prospects, pipeline development, financial assessment, transaction structuring, and implementation.
- Deliver on assigned metrics such as yearly revenue and net new assets under custody.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to monetize internal and external distribution channels.
- Participate in shaping go-to-market strategies and participate in the marketplace to develop and maintain channels for sales.
- Partner with product and strategy teams to ideate new product functionality that will continue to keep our business model competitive within the enterprise space.
- Represent the voice of the market and the customer with peers and partners in: product, marketing, legal, risk, compliance, relationship management, implementation, operations and client service.
- Build close, appropriate relationships across the digital assets ecosystem, representing Fidelity's interests and objectives.
- Understand the disruptive value delivered by digital assets and develop thought leadership on what that means for Fidelity's businesses.
- Monitor, research, and evaluate market trends and signals, including competitor business models, industry news and regulatory developments.
- Communicate effectively to audiences with varying levels of seniority and understanding of finance, digital assets, cryptocurrencies, and distributed ledger technologies.
The Team
As a Senior Manager in the Business Development team, you will be responsible for finding, developing, and closing new revenue opportunities. You will interface with internal & external partners to identify, develop, and execute strategies that build deep and lasting relationships focused on the growing demand for digital access among institutional clients.
