Position Description:

Deploys Tableau dashboards on Amazon Web Services (AWS), adhering to dashboard governance programs and dashboard development standards. Performs data analytics, data visualization, and business intelligence using Tableau Desktop and Server technologies. Design and develop scalable ETL pipelines against cloud such as Snowflake. Writes high quality SQL code to retrieve and analyze large set of data against both cloud and on-premises relational database technologies such as Snowflake and Oracle. Works in an Agile development environment using tools like JIRA and Confluence to track issues and automate workflows.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Delivers best in class AI, analytics, research, and data to Fidelity.
  • Builds and publishes customized interactive reports and dashboards.
  • Delivers best in class dashboard solutions by collaborating with various Product Owners and the Engineering communities.
  • Implements full life-cycle methodology including change management processes by ensuring changes are properly tested and migrated to production.
  • Analyzes, manipulates, or process large sets of data using statistical software.
  • Recommends data-driven solutions to key stakeholders identifying relationships and trends or any facts that could affect the results of research.
  • Compiles and catalogs deployed business intelligence solutions and artifacts for providing easy searchability of the data.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Financial Mathematics, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Advanced Data Analytics and Insights (or closely related occupation) designing, developing, building, and testing complex and scalable data analytics and automated dashboards (cloud or on-premise databases), to improve customer experience and drive business results, using (SQL or Python) and Tableau.

Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Financial Mathematics, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Advanced Data Analytics and Insights (or closely related occupation) designing, developing, building, and testing complex and scalable data analytics and automated dashboards (cloud or on-premise databases), to improve customer experience and drive business results, using (SQL or Python) and Tableau.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

  • Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") designing, deploying, and implementing data mining and analytics techniques using Amazon Web Service (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Snowflake; and delivering tailored solutions for on-premises databases (Teradata or Oracle) using SQL or Python.
  • DE designing and developing intuitive dashboards and comprehensive business and data analytics reports; providing business and operational insights using Tableau or Power BI; and transforming complex data into visually appealing and actionable information, enabling data-driven decision-making using Tableau.
  • DE implementing precise business rules to enhance customer experiences, employing visual data analytics using Tableau or Power BI; translating business requirements into technical validations, examining data for accuracy, quality, and condition using SQL or Python; and transforming complex data into actionable insights, ensuring data-driven decision-making and optimal business outcomes using SQL or Tableau.
  • DE performing functional, integration, and report testing, specializing in validating data completeness, constraints, and duplication using SQL; validating measures, dimensions, and real-time custom reporting, using SQL and Business Intelligence tools; ensuring the accuracy and reliability of business reports and charts using rigorous testing methodologies; and identifying and rectifying discrepancies, ensuring high-quality and reliable data for informed decision-making using SQL or Business Intelligence tools.
