• 7+ years' related work experience demonstrating responsibilities in a complex enterprise, marketing agency or matrixed environment

The Purpose of Your Role
The purpose of your role is ongoing management of B&W collateral, including legal documents, applications, brochures, branch materials, digital and print kits, and web pages for several lines of business, including Managed Solutions and Wealth. To achieve this, the Communication Manager will work closely with squads, legal and product managers to ensure content and channels are managed optimally and updated appropriately. It is expected that this role will develop in-depth knowledge of all covered products and communications channels to provide recommendations to business partners on aligning content updates. The Communication Manager will conduct periodic rationalization efforts to justify relevance of communications to ensure alignment with communication strategies. The role will not be responsible for writing content. The role will primarily be responsible for working with legal and product teams to manage updates to content.

• An understanding of the service and legal collateral lifecycle and how files are pushed through various stages to production
• An understanding of how legal and service materials are leveraged by business partners online and in the field
• Your ability to use data to inform planning and make decisions
• Flexibility to learn new skills and apply them to cover areas of need as priorities shift or as the team realigns

The Value You Deliver
• You will be accountable for managing product and legal updates to legal, service and product documents sent to our customers
• You will serve as the lead for ongoing retention of legal document updates for recordkeeping purposes
• You will oversee an quarterly review of the legal document inventory with legal and business partners
• You will ensure the materials are always available and accurate
• That they reflect the most up to date information on the product or service
• That the content has been fully approved by all stakeholders, including legal and compliance
• Coordinate updates to ensure we enhance scale and efficiency from a timing and cost standpoint
• You will partner with development, content and operations teams to implement changes
• You will ensure communication experiences put the customer first
• You will oversee post-release production support and maintenance
• Lead channel forward in reducing reliance on print, improving production time, and reducing manual tasks and non-value add activity
• You will take personal accountability for your work
• Keep abreast and share standard methodologies in marketing channel execution and technology
• You will build strong relationships with all of your key partners
• You will build a strong understanding of the financial product you support and how and where the content is distributed
How Your Work Impacts the Organization
The Communication Management team within Fidelity Brokerage coordinates almost all product communications used by our field reps to service customers- ensuring we align to industry and enterprise standards. The CM ensures the materials are accurate, available, reflect all up to date financial product and legal compliance information and are included with the appropriate communications to our customers to meet all of our regulatory obligations. The team is experts in the content they maintain as well as how and when the content is distributed to our customers.
