Senior Analyst, Alternative Investments
The Role
The Senior Analyst, Alternative Investments is a member of a broader investment team and will be responsible for supporting the intake and execution of private equity, real estate, venture capital, hedge fund, and other alternative and non-traditional investment transactions. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders, including alternative investment due diligence, oversight, operations, and others, external advisors, investment managers, and investment custodian staff to support the timely execution and accurate recording of alternative investment transactions. This position requires strong communications skills, attention to detail, positive and professional attitude, as well as the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.

This member of the team will also:
- Provide transaction support through triaging, onboarding, and maintaining non-traditional investments that involve non-standard contracts, investment execution, wire instructions, valuation, investment and operational due diligence reports, and documentation
- Monitor and improve transaction processes
- Quickly acquire and assimilate information from multiple sources
- Assess and mitigate risk in real-time
- Review and evaluate data against key performance indicators
- Analyze workflow and propose workflow and system improvements to meet the needs of the team
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required
- Experience in investment operations is required, preferably with private markets and other non-traditional assets
- 3+ years' experience in financial services, asset management, or wealth management is preferred
- Experience with private markets and non-traditional assets is preferred
- Experience with Salesforce and Advent helpful but not required
- Progress toward advanced degrees or certifications such as MBA, CFA, CAIA or others is helpful but not required

- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to maintain successful working relationships across a multitude of business partner teams
