The Role
The Regional Advisor Consultant provides industry expertise and advisory platform sales support to Fidelity Institutional clients. In this role you will provide dedicated managed account platform expertise to our intermediary clients and will be responsible for driving advisory platform adoption across our customer base.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
- CFP, CIMA preferred
- Financial intermediary channel experience preferred (RIAs, Banks, and Broker/Dealers)
- Familiarity with clearing and custody services
- Minimum five years experience working with advisors and wealth managers in platform consulting and/or sales required

- You are passionate about wealth management and advisory solutions and are obsessed with delivering superior client experience and have the expertise on the breadth of investment capabilities, programs, and supporting tools and services available to advisors
- You will develop and maintain territory management business plans and travel 50-75% of the time
- You deliver value to our customers by effectively sharing your dedicated subject matter expertise and best practice guidance on the entire suite of advisory platform capabilities
- You are motivated by success as measured by platform adoption statistics (proposal volume, platform sales, successful introduction of various platform offerings) and are energized by challenges associated with introducing new advisory solution to the marketplace
- Series 7, 63, 65/66 required
The Team
The role is a key member of the Fidelity Institutional Managed Accounts distribution team. which mission is to promote the adoption of the new Fidelity Managed Account Exchange (FMAX) across our intermediary customer base. You will provide point-of-contact sales support to participating intermediaries within your assigned territory. The role is the "face" of our advisory platform offering to our intermediary customers. You will provide expertise to assist the intermediaries in their knowledge of the advisory platform capabilities and their successful adoption of it as the key utility they rely on to provide fee-based advisory solutions to their customers.
