The Role

The Operations Workstation and Reengineering Experience team is looking for candidates that display strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to plan, coordinate and communicate progress as part of our brokerage cloud migration program! The Operations Workstation is a multi-year effort to move 100% of our legacy platforms to a cloud based cohesive workstation.

We are looking for a Program Manager of Operations Workstation who will blend a deep level of expertise in program management with a passion for delivery & adoption results.

Tool adoption is one of the driving factors and a key success metric. It is important that the program manager plays a role in adoption by understanding the voice of the associate, operations, and service management team. Adoption leadership and coordinating change management are responsibilities that are part of this role.

In this role, you will be providing coordination of multiple delivery efforts simultaneously. As the point person for a delivery domain, you will coordinate and oversee a program relationship management experience to support development teams, and the communication of each domain's progress in alignment with the Program Leader.

You will partner with other leaders to develop and implement a strategic modernization plan, elevate data for executive-level presentations, monitor progress against plans, and report on key performance indicators. You will build trust and key working relationships with a distributed team, finance partners and business leaders. In addition, your responsibilities include:

  • Driving success against program goals by understanding the Modernization program strategy setting and tracking objectives & key performance metrics.
  • Developing and delivering clear and compelling written communications.
  • Consulting & advising the leadership team on insights to stay aligned with program goals.
  • Communicating large, sophisticated problems and solutions at the right level for senior consumption and decision making as the liaison between development teams and leadership.
  • Responding to rapid changes in information, process & direction, and prioritizing work to meet key due dates
  • Collaborating & influencing partners & senior leaders to drive business outcomes.
  • Managing key dependencies and decision points in program plan
  • Managing the program to ensure deliverables are produced, and partnering to obtain sign-offs
  • Delivering presentations and program updates at business & Steering committee meetings
  • Helping Squads manage feature rollouts and ensures operations after go-lives via an adequate handover
  • Distributing information as necessary and providing status reporting to different levels of the organization and different stakeholders

The Expertise & Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years' experience in program management, technology portfolio management and planning, and/or large complex program management experience
  • Experience with Change Management a plus
  • Extensive program management leadership, coordination and relationship management skills to balance partners' needs with program objectives
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and resource management skills to work with technical and business partners and highly technical development teams across multiple US regions and globally
  • Strong discernment with a strategic and innovative mentality that blends financial services acumen and technology delivery
  • This role may require Series 99 licensing within 120 days of hire
  • Handle multiple priorities, set and carry out clear goals, and assist teams with the cloud migration process as an escalation point for consolidating issues, questions or technical challenges associated with migration development activities
  • Strategic problem solver with focus on delivery execution and the quality of outcomes and a proven ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and deadline-driven environment.
  • Possess strong Agile/Scrum Program Management and leadership skills with a passion for excellence, innovation, and collaboration; eager to learn and adapt every day
  • Manage your work through strong interpersonal, influencing and relationship management skills, including an ability to build relationships effectively with peers, all levels of management, and associates
  • Superb communication and influencing skills (verbal, written and presentation) with the ability to work across functional boundaries and interact, influence, and work optimally with various levels of management and peers

As a member of this Operation Workstation team, you will provide oversight and support to internal development teams through the coordination and execution of delivery & adoption plans. This dynamic Operations Workstation team aims at creating a unified associate workstation that increases efficiencies, resource fungibility, reduces manual work and risk. Efficient and consistent behavior across individual capabilities to enable streamlined work experience across business groups. The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$169,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
