Job Description:
We are looking for a Principal Risk Analyst for a highly visible and fast paced role with exposure across Fidelity's Asset Management business and enterprise business partners! While we coordinate with the enterprise on policies and standards, this role will provide subject matter expertise and continuity and recovery principles, critical thinking on risk assessments, auditing, reporting, and program governance.
Additional responsibilities include participating in an on-call rotation, developing business and technology resiliency plans. Partnered with the team, you will assist in the auditing of information barriers between business units, support testing of AM's technology and vendor resiliency programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn, the ability to identify risks and mitigating controls, automate workflows to increase team efficiency, develop comprehensive actionable dashboards and delve into predictive analytics. As part of the team, we all will work across the business units to drive and demonstrate a more resilient organization.
The Expertise You Have
- Bachelor's degree or related work experience required
- Strong communication, presentation and writing skills
- In depth knowledge of data analysis techniques and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Demonstrated knowledge of SQL, Python programming
- Business and IT resiliency and/or risk management; certifications a plus
- Knowledge of Asset Management or Investment Management Technology
- Proven ability to derive meaningful and actionable performance and risk indicators
- AWS resiliency practices and application design principles

- Strong data analysis skills (e.g., tools, strategies) with demonstrated experience querying and analyzing large data sets and assessing outcomes
- Proven project management experience including prioritization, sizing, status reporting and issue mitigation
- Highly organized and proven ability to achieve results in a fast-paced and detail oriented organization
- Superb verbal and written communications skills
- Proven ability to build and present executive level presentations
- Outstanding relationship management and customer service skills
- Strong collaborator; able to build and sustain working relationships with peers

Asset Management Risk provides direction to management and business units by proactively identifying and monitoring risks to protect the interests of the firm, clients, and associates. To complete this goal, Asset Management Risk is responsible for identifying, analyzing, aggregating, and reporting on significant and emerging risks to assist management in improving their controls, processes and continuity of IT and business operations.
