Job Description:
Fidelity Wealth - Core Wealth Platforms area is looking for a passionate Systems analyst to build and support world-class products for its business-critical Wealth Management Team. Our engineering team is innovative, diverse, passionate and self-driven. We work in a very dynamic agile environment.
Purpose:
As a successful Systems analyst on the team participates in all phases of a project lifecycle, including solutioning with our Delivery Lead / Product Owners to gather & document business and systems requirements, helping with current state analysis of our systems, helping define our technology solution, and partnering with QA in test case preparation. This role will be expected to quickly gain understanding of all the components of our applications and demonstrate great collaboration with members of various business and IT groups throughout the life cycle of the project. The ideal candidate should show ease at making personal connections, be confident in leading and constructively challenging with a dedicated approach to solving problems and overcoming obstacles.

The Expertise You Have:
- 9+ years professional experience as a Systems Analyst for software solutions
- Proven experience researching, optimizing, developing and authoring solution requirements, user stories, and specifications for moderate to complex software systems
- Proven experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and programming in general
- Strong understanding and experience with complex relational database schemas and SQL management tools.
- Proven experience working with REST, SOAP, JSON and APIs
- Proven experience with Agile development methodologies
- Deep knowledge of scrum tools - Jira experience desirable
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good understanding on web technologies with relation to system architecture
- Knowledge and understanding on AWS is beneficial.
- Good knowledge of Behavior Driven Development
- Release coordination
- Be able to articulate complex system interactions through diagrams and crisp documentation to a wide spectrum of audiences
- Ability to understand the technical aspects of the software, including understanding of code to be able to understand the business logic, understand technical architecture
- Produce artifacts - business flow diagrams
- Have good understanding of solution architecture and partner with Architects, Business analysts and tech leads.
- Build OpenAPI contracts.
- Have end to end knowledge of system interactions and be able to articulate well to different audiences both technical and non-technical
- Be the point of contact and Subject matter Expert in the products supported by the team in addition to having broader understanding of the product area
- Prod incidents analysis - Splunk queries, build dashboards/alerts
- Any experience with reporting tools for data visualization is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or related technology discipline
