Job Description:

The Role

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer In Test that takes pride in the craft of testing complex systems and building fine test automation utilities. You will have a strong role to play in the migration of clients from legacy to next-generation healthcare platforms through manual and automated testing.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science
  • Must have minimum of 10 years of software testing experience
  • Must have ability to create and modify complex SQL queries
  • Must have ability to write and debug code in Java/Spring
  • Must have experience with API automation - Rest Assured, Postman
  • Must be familiar with Behavior Driven Development (BDD)/Cucumber
  • Must be able to identify test automation opportunities and drive automation initiatives
  • A strong analytical mind set. Ability to cut through vast detail and get to the critical points that makes a difference to the business.
  • Proven ability to integrate different components and technology together to build solid solutions
  • Ability to work independently and deliver solid results consistently
  • Good communication skills. Ability to mentor junior members of the team.

  • Participating in the definition of system architecture and detailed solution design
  • Writing concise and clear technical specifications based on analysis of complex business requirements
  • Maintaining and supporting development environment while adopting industry standard methodologies and tools
  • Performing manual validation and comparison of datasets between comparable platforms

The Team

The team is responsible for ensuring successful migration of clients and participants between two healthcare and benefit administration systems. We ensure the healthcare products delivered meet stringent quality standards while delivering increased testing value sprint-over-sprint. The team will help Fidelity to further drive and accelerate growth in this market space.
