We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer in test who can support our Enterprise Card team. You will be part of a fast paced technology dependent team that aims to deliver solutions at high quality. The outcome of this role will elevate the efficiency and speed at which Fidelity not only delivers stable products but delivers quality to our customers. You will be working with developers, analysts and other quality assurance engineers in order to collectively make sure of the product quality. You will be responsible for testing strategy, automation architecture, and delivery of the said products.

The Expertise You Have
- 8+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 6+ years with a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Candidate should have expert level working knowledge on Java and Java based frameworks and should be able to develop Microservices on their own.
- Candidate should have proficient knowledge in understanding the end to end flow
- Candidate should have proficient working knowledge in using Java 8 and beyond.
- Experience working on building automation Tests using RESTAssured
- Candidate should have experience working on AWS and should be aware of AWS related SDK's
- Experience working with Cucumber, Karate is preferred
- Strong experience in devising test strategy and processes.
- Strong demonstrated experience in delivering software solutions in an Agile environment
- Minimum 6 years of experience with architecting and implementing development pipelines (CI / CD)
- Demonstrated ability in deploying applications using Jenkins, Maven, Docker, uDeploy and using log aggregation tools like Splunk for supporting production applications.
- Hands-on experience with crafting and using Virtual / Mock assets
- Passionate about crafting the best end-to-end customer experience
- You are a multi-stack engineer with knowledge in a breadth of technologies and test automation frameworks and solutions
- Energetically pursue new technologies and their adoption
- Leading the outcome by taking personal accountability for delivering strong results

The Team
You will be part of a new team which is developing a platform with a fresh customer experience for one of the successful product of the firm. This is a complete Agile team that would work in 2 weeks sprints to deliver outcomes. There are multiple squads which would be taking care of the deliverables at different stacks from a common backlog targeting on getting the platform and experience working flawlessly. The supported applications include but are not limited to web/mobile based applications, API based applications, and cloud-based solutions.
The Engineering Efficiency and Assurance (EE&A) chapter resides in the Fidelity Wealth business unit (FWBU) of Fidelity Investments. The chapter consists of over 245 multi-stacked engineers with a passion around customer experience and with the engineering tool set to seek challenges including: Automated testing, performance testing, chaos testing, application cloud migration and management, CI / CD implementation, security testing and application development.
