The Role
The Workplace Investment Quality Engineering COE is looking for Software Engineer with strong release engineering background with Automate Everything mindset, to use your technical capabilities along with your domain expertise to develop innovative solutions. In this hands-on role, you will combine your development skills with enterprise tooling from Fidelity to help create a developer friendly DevOps ecosystem and leading the organization through its next generation Devops Journey. This position involves building and committing to the tools that support cloud development. Daily activities like helping team build pipelines, support, automation, design and analysis as well as working closely with the development teams, architecture, engineering teams, and operations.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- A Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related field
- At least 10 years of experience working in sophisticated production environment, on-Prem and Cloud
- Must have full understanding of the ITIL practices to support the day-to-day operations and engineering organization
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines stacks like Github, Jenkins, CloudBees CI, Ansible, Maven, JUnit, Docker, JMeter, Artifactory, Sonar, Reportportal, Sealights, Kubernetes, Xray, Playwright
- Hands-on Experience with Public Cloud environments, preferably AWS and Azure.
- Experience with monitoring systems such as CloudWatch, Catchpoint, Datadog/Splunk, ELK stack.
- Strong Experience with Kubernetes, AKS, EKS and ECS
- Hands on experience to build pipeline for Database and PowerBI deployments, Delphix virtualization, Manage icedq infrastructure and Windows Jenkins agent.
- Strong Hands-on Experience in Python, Groovy, Unix scripting or related programming languages
- Contribute to the improvement of the incident response process based on lessons learned.
- Capability to partner with Operations and Stakeholders on stability opportunities based upon reporting/trending findings as well as operational readiness
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies to support day to day operations
- Customer orientated personality exhibiting professionalism and enthusiasm
- Analytical & detail orientated thought process with the ability to take methodical approach to activities such as data analysis & stability trending
- Good technical background with the ability to discuss architecture, hardware, and concepts
- Demonstrate ability to form trusted working relationships with business unit stakeholders through collaboration and enhanced effective communications
- Inquisitive in nature (seeks to understand why and challenges the status quo)
- Help focus the attention, technology and processes required for successfully scaling automation initiatives
- Expertise in conveying technical concepts to technical team members, and/or other technical contributors and business across the organization

- A passion for excellence, innovation, and teamwork; eager to learn and adapt every day
- Able to coach team members in areas where you have domain expertise and able to coordinate with partners on
