The Role

Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT) is seeking a Principal Mobile Developer to help build creative digital solutions and capabilities for our Plynk mobile app to ensure investing is inclusive for all audiences by removing barriers that prevent participation. We are redefining the financial services industry by changing the way we work and being customer obsessed!
The Expertise You Have
- BS or above in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years' experience in software application design & development; mobile development
- Working experience in an Agile environment
- Knowledge of financial services brokerage operations, services and technology systems preferred

The Skills You Bring
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and integrating Java Web services using Spring Boot and Spring Security according to Service Oriented and micro-services architecture; authenticating applications using oAuth/JWT
- Implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for Web services using Jenkins and Concourse deploying applications in a DevOps environment
- Experience with iOS and Android development in a hybrid tech stack (Ionic/Capacitor/Cordova) Client-Side development - Angular, NgRx, CSS, HTML
- In-depth knowledge secure coding standards and practices
- Code Quality/Coverage Tools (Sonar or equivalent) Test/Automation (Jest, Cypress, Cucumber, or any similar framework)
- Strong collaboration skills to work with multiple teams across the organization
- Knowledge of cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Certifications a plus
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools; DataDog, Splunk, etc. for analysis, observability, and alerting

Fidelity's hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Having the majority of our associates work onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture.
