Manager, Brokerage Risk
The Brokerage Risk team advises Fidelity's dynamic individual investor businesses building lifetime relationships with self-directed clients and helping them save and invest. This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Director of Brokerage Risk. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting critical components of our risk program including risk governance work, risk assessments, incident and issue management and oversight. The Brokerage Risk team covers a wide array of brokerage services including trading and margin, core brokerage operations, fraud protection, and client services.

- Prepare materials and key inputs for executive risk governance committees.
- Participate and support end-to-end risk assessment process and reporting.
- Support stakeholders with risk identification and control review of new initiatives.
- Review and tracking of business unit monthly key risk indicators and metrics.
- Investigate and escalate incidents and escalations timely, review fact patterns with stakeholders to understand the root cause. Collaborate to track remediation and action plans.
- Oversight of risk remediation work within GRC tool (ex. Archer) to drive progress.
- Build effective partnerships with organizational stakeholders to deliver risk outcomes, identify emerging risks, and opportunities.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree (required)
- 5+ years of risk, compliance, legal, or audit experience at a financial services institution, e.g., asset managers, banks, regulatory agencies (required)
- Experience independently delivering on the expectations for this role (required)
- Experience with brokerage products and services, brokerage operations, or client service operations - including familiarity with regulatory requirements (required)
- Technical expertise to query and analyze data to support business/operational reviews
- Ability to create engaging presentations and reporting
- Experience with Archer or similar GRC tool is a bonus
- Advanced degree or FINRA license (Series 7) is a bonus

The Team
Brokerage Risk supports the retail distribution arm of Fidelity Investments focused on enabling self-directed customers to achieve their financial goals. Brokerage Risk is a dedicated team of risk professionals who partner directly with business leaders and cross-functional partners to ensure comprehensive risk management throughout the brokerage businesses -- from the frontline to executive leadership. As part of this team, you will help deliver risk support on major firm initiatives, incidents, products and services.

The base salary range for this position is $71,000-$112,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
