Job Description:
The Role
The Manager, Alternative Investments, Investor Relations services the associates of the fast-growing Alternative Investments Investor Relations team. We are looking for a seasoned manager who will lead, manage, and inspire a team of associates responsible for the end-to-end operational processing for the suite of Alternative funds. Navigate industry-wide processes and deal with moderately complex nuanced products to support transactional activity. Provide an exemplary client experience for all Fidelity clients.
- Ability to motivate associates to do better and empower them by training, coaching and mentoring them along the way
- Ability to create a culture of growth and development within the team and company
- You work well on teams and in cross-collaborative environments internally and externally
- You adopt an Agile way of work through continuous improvement, learning and sharing with a focus on the associate and client experience
- Ability to maintain effective and mutually beneficial working relationships with internal and external counterparts

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelors or equivalent
- Alternatives experience preferred, but not required
- 5+ years of experience in a manager role
- Experience overseeing employee performance and development, including performance appraisal and the mentoring, coaching, and training of managers and junior team members

This new space offers Fidelity a new asset class previously unexplored by current day Fidelity funds (ETFs, Mutual Funds).
