Job Title: Lead - Software Engineering

The Purpose of Your Role

The Full Stack Engineer will collaborate within and across squads to produce high-quality, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code. You will participate in, own and lead all phases of the development process, from conception to deployment as a member of an agile, cross-functional team. You will demonstrate leadership and maintain a continuous technology progressive mentality.

How your Work Impacts the Organization

A Full Stack Engineer with expertise and experience in designing and developing applications including new developments, enhancements, maintenance, and production support. This will involve developing microservices using full stack engineering for Enterprise Cyber Security Practice.

• You will build high quality scalable solutions aligning with our technology blueprint and best practices to solve business problems with effective contribution to design, development, and ongoing support of technology applications.

• You will work collaboratively as an integral member of the team, with Tech leads, Architects, Squad Leads and other members in the organization, demonstrating ownership of your deliverables.
• You demonstrate passion for technology and financial domain through your ability to learn quickly and adapt to newer technology trends to be full stack.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technology field.
• 6+ years' experience, preferable within financial services and/or a shared service model
• Strong attention to detail & analytical skills.
• API development and good understanding of technologies like java, angular and microservices development
• Worked on Docker containers, Kubernetes [ preferably AKS]
• DevOps and Cloud Computing (Azure) exposure
• Expertise in analyzing data and dealing with data using SQL queries.
• Knowledge of building cloud native applications. Deploying and debugging cloud applications.
• Enjoy working on different technologies to solve business problems.
• Adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
• Enjoy learning new technologies, data analysis, identifying data patterns and trends.
• Perform Analysis, Design, Estimation and Development of the database components.
• Strong communication skills to manage various stakeholders globally
• Understand and build Unit Testing strategy and Unit test cases
• Know Build Technologies (Maven/Gradle)
• Know Version Control System (GitHub/SVN)
• Flexibility to understand and deliver towards multiple technology stacks.
• An ability to work well on global teams and in fast-paced, cross-collaborative environments.
• Attitude to think ahead, anticipate questions, plan for contingencies, and find alternative solutions.
• Be motivated and show desire to learn about the business and new technologies.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining build/deployment pipelines.
• Experience in supporting testing in UAT & Production environments.
• Well-practiced in software quality concepts and tools at different levels of testing (unit, component, integration, and functional tests).
• Strong understanding of coding patterns and engineering standard methodologies.

• Knowledge in ETL
• Understanding/experience in building and supporting Analytics use cases.
• Ability to work in an Agile team structure.
• Ability to gather customer requirements and make design decisions.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers.
